Light & Plotty

Light & Plotty

Hii! Love your blog so much! I really appreciate your efforts to it! I was wondering, do you happen to have some ff set in MCU or anyway in “easy times” like, no CW or angsty settings, just plain “tony stark is Iron man Steve is Captain America and stuff happens” kinda of ff?

Just nice, plotty fic, huh?  That’s…surprisingly hard to find, lol.  Here are some you might enjoy, though!

Iron Man: Director of S.W.O.R.D. by Pookaseraph:
In the wake of the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the
Avengers need to pick up the pieces, and figure out where to go from
here. Tony had a plan, at least he thought he had a plan, but Steve
Rogers seems to have blown most of those out of the water.

The Mission  (series) by @missbeckywrites;
Steve drags Tony along with him when he makes an impulsive
decision to chase after Hydra. Things go downhill from there, and Steve
discovers a new mission for himself.

In Which Tony Stark Builds Himself Some Friends (But His Family Was Assigned by Nick Fury) (series) by @scifigrl47: Steve takes things like personal responsibility and respect
seriously.  Tony’s got people he pays to take care of that kind of
thing, and anyway, he’s pretty sure that he’s going to die of some
exotic disease in his workshop, because Dummy’s still a little spotty
about what is ‘clean’ enough to put on an open wound.  The rest of the
Avengers are in this for personal gain, except for Clint, he just enjoys
being a dick.And some things shouldn’t be a chore.

many names in history, none of them are ours by aubkae: Steve’s not sure if he’ll ever understand Tony Stark,
but it’s good, living here. If he still wakes up sometimes convinced
this was all a dream, well, it’s better than it was before, and that’s
something, isn’t it?The Avengers live in a world that both glorifies and fears them, but they know each other now behind the scenes.

Ready, Fire, Aim ‘verse by gyzym:
There’s no “I” in “Avenger.”

Awakenings ‘verse by Brooke_Lynn: The Battle of New York is only hours past, but Steve Rogers’
battle to assimilate to his new world has just begun. Steve realizes his
frosty existence since his awakening is every bit as debilitating as
the Arctic ice he escaped. He sets upon a journey of self-discovery,
even as the Avengers make rebuilding what the Chitauri destroyed a
priority, encountering notions of friendship, home, family, and love
he’d never considered. But Steve is not alone: Despite efforts to deny
it, Tony Stark has to face the fact that his heart has awakened as well.
Steve manages to rock Tony’s world in ways he’s never imagined
possible.Awakenings details the romantic, heart-warming, and sexy story
of Steve and Tony’s emerging relationship. Their transition from
teammates to friends to lovers is bumpy yet charming, exasperating and
exhilarating. Simultaneously, Phil and Clint’s love overcomes
life-threatening obstacles, Thor finds new amusements in his adopted
world, and Natasha and Bruce discover unexpected aspects of themselves. If you enjoy romance, drama, hurt/comfort, hot sex, emotional growth,
humor, heroic friendships, camaraderie, and a sweet, new-fashioned
wedding, then this might be the story for you.

Team Building Activities by valtyr:
Fury’s a beautiful princess. Clint’s plotting a Communist revolution.
Rhodey’s not sexy. Wall-E’s not a documentary. Clint’s not gay but he
does give a great blowjob. This fic is not an AU.

Hole in My Heart(That Goes All the Way to China) by MemoryDragon:
In which Steve is in stubborn denial and wants to shake some sense into
Tony, Tony has a broken heart and wants to cheer Steve up, and pandas
are cute and want bamboo.

(thanks for the suggestion @nagth)
