WANDS, COMMENTS AND KUDOS AT THE READY!

Magic

now i worship a celestial sun by haemodye:  The thing that gets Tony the most is how long it takes him to notice.  Not Steve, or even the other Avengers, but Tony himself. It takes Tony almost two whole weeks to figure out that he’s unable to disobey a direct order from Steve, which just- what the hell is that? What happened to the days when he flew off the handle, unable to play well with others, a notorious wild card?  “God, don’t tell me I’m getting old and predictable,” he says, rubbing a hand over his forehead. And then, “Fuck.”

An’ Harm Ye None by LinneaKou:  “…do as ye will.” Toni Stark, small-town witch, has served as the head of the Cravenswood town coven for a decade all the while assisting the police in occult-related crime. Between her and Detective Steve Rogers, nothing that happens in Cravenwood is too big to handle – not even the reappearance of her estranged brother… that is, until someone starts ritually murdering townspeople. As the death toll climbs and a conservative religious group begins to cast blame upon the town witches, something monstrous begins to stir up Craven’s Woods. Faced with an unknown Craft and drawing the suspicions of the citizens she swore to protect, Toni must put an end to the killings before whatever is haunting the woods comes out into the light.Fear lives in a small town.

PIEce de Resistance by @shetlandowl: On an afternoon when Tony is being particularly stubborn about finishing his work and avoiding healthy habits like sleep, nutrition, and sleep, Rhodey does Pepper a solid and takes him to this little bakery in Manhattan that most people don’t know about. It’s not a place you wander into unless you need to, and it isn’t a place you find without help or purpose. But once you’ve found it, it’s a wonder how you ever managed without it.

Shining Silver by @kandisheek-art: Steve would like to say he didn’t know how he’d ended up here but that would be a lie. He could just imagine Bucky screaming in his ear, “One rule, Steve! One fucking rule and you break it! You stupid punk!”Now Steve was going to learn the hard way why people were so scared of insulting a warlock.

Stop on Green by Catchclaw: It wasn’t Tony’s fault that he turned Steve into a cat. Well, it was his fault, but it wasn’t his fault.

Between You and the World by Desiderii: A Magical High School AU starring the Avengers with Steve and Tony front and center. Steve is the newest transfer to Triskelion, a magnet school for the unlocked. His first two weeks are so far removed from what he thought he was getting into, but nobody seems to believe that he’s not going to give up quite so easily.

Moss by antigrav_vector: Technomancers are considered mages, though they aren’t, truly. True mages have weak, usually offensive, powers. Tony’s only ever had technomagery at his fingertips, until after the misadventures that gave him Iron Man.Seventy years ago, a big fight went down in northern Europe between Steve and Red Skull, getting more intense with each encounter. It caused a series of barren circles in the landscape: scars left upon the very ground by the conflict between the two highly skilled mages. Both of the combatants have become the stuff of legend, since neither body was ever found. And, frankly, with the force of the last explosion, there was no reasonable way they could have survived. And that’s where things get interesting; now, seventy years later, Tony develops the Iron Man armour and confronts his enemies with it. But strange things happen when he goes looking for some solitude in a remote region of the north sea, afterward, hovering high above the ice and waves. He starts hearing a voice whisper and seeing flickers of movement that resolve into thin air. And they get more frequent as he nears the source: a man frozen solid in a block of ice…

Soul Hoarder by @thecitylightshow: All dragons have hoards. Tony was not ashamed of his heritage, but he’d learnt early on that older generations didn’t care to do business with dragons. Thus, Tony hoarded in his heart but never in a way that could be deemed more than eccentric, a way that could be deemed dragon. Most people, if they knew, would assume he hoarded technology. A couple might assume instruments, and Pepper would claim he hoarded paperwork because he never gave it back. Most people would be wrong. Tony hoards souls.

Magic in Your Veins by @wrenegade-writes:  Tony is an Omega—supposedly powerless. But the universe doesn’t seem to care, or else just made the biggest mistake ever, because Tony has powers anyway. It’s okay, though. He keeps his head down. No one will ever know.Steve is a rogue tracker—he finds Alphas and the occasional Betas who go against the law and don’t register their powers with the Calethyian Welthari Registration. He’s scarily good at his job, despite the Combat magic that’s run through his family for centuries refusing to run through him. So he hunts down those who have what he’s been begging for since day one.

Breath of a Fish by picturecat: Their relationship was courteous, as it must be for any two witches who had no interest in feuding with one another properly. But to someone he could trust not to repeat his words, Steve often complained that Stark was basically a warlock, the way he carried on with esoteric nonsense and ignoring the needs of the people. For his part, Steve had no idea what Stark’s objection to him was. He knew only that the man so obviously delighted in teasing Steve that the people of their town regularly placed bets on when they expected them to come to blows.

the general store by mvrcredi: Steve doesn’t stop the rain for just anyone.  (Not even for Mrs. Arbogast’s garden!)

things my heart used to know, things it yearns to remember by @ayapandagirl: A curse, set to complete by winter’s end. Childhood friends, separated by many years. The memories that connect them, lost.

Genius in a Bottle by @captainneverever: Genie Tony has not met anyone like Merchant Steve before. He might be a little in love. But he still has a job to do – to convince Steve to use his three wishes. Steve isn’t getting the hint.

Falling, Catching by ShippersList: Stars aren’t supposed to meddle with the human world. It’s messy, noisy, filthy, and rushed, the humans like specks of dust in their short, short lives. Stars are supposed to keep in the skies, watch over the vast expanses of space, look after the newborn stars, and take care of the elderly who are about to fade away.Antymion isn’t like other stars.

Pretty Nice by @summerpipedream: “I can charm him for you if you’d like.”Tony sunk his face deeper onto his crossed arms. He frowned up at the fae, staring down at him with a raised eyebrow. “Thanks, but no thanks. I appreciate the offer Nat, but I think I want him to like me the normal way.”Tony glanced wistfully back over towards the other table. Steve was just as handsome as ever today, laughing with the rest of his werewolf friends.

Supernatural

Fighting Ghosts by @copperbadge: Tony Stark is a Seer, someone vulnerable to phantasms, malevolent spirits of the dead. He’s meant to have a bonded Fighter, someone who can defend him – or attack on his command. So far he’s had no luck finding a bond, but that’s about to change…

Twelve Days by unclechrom: In which Tony finds himself in a town that looks like it crawled out of a Hallmark Christmas movie, trying to sell an inn he didn’t know he owned, all while dealing with Steve Rogers, the resident ghost who has returned to haunt the inn each December during the twelve days of Christmas for the past seventy years. Tony has only one logical solution that benefits them both: break the curse that binds him – but falling for a man almost a century old wasn’t among his plans.

Whisper of Breath by CoopPenny:Spirit – the non-physical part of a person which is the seat of emotions and character; the soul.Tony’s always seen them, always been able to interact with them, talk to them, he’s even seen them as family. But his greatest pleasure is also his greatest secret…

A Tree in Rockefeller Center by MiniRaven: Steve is a tree spirit of a hundred year old pine tree and Tony Stark is a teenager studying at MIT. Tony feels that there’s something more to their relationship besides a strong friendship between a human and a tree spirit, but Steve won’t cross the line. Might have something to do with the fact that Steve’s the Rockefeller Christmas tree and is going to be cut up for parts come mid-January to be used to build houses for the poor.Yeah… Merry fucking Christmas to you too universe. Now if only Tony could do something to change the tides of fate…

Cheeseburgers, Tech and Steve by LagLemon: Steve’s known that there are other worlds out there; he just hasn’t paid much attention to them.  Living with Bucky and helping out the Avengers is a full time job, and he doesn’t have time to daydream about things like that when he can hear about them at work.   When they get called in to investigate the appearance and deaths of Incubi and Succubi civil war survivors, they find that a portal has been opened between their two worlds.  Wanting to do the right thing, Steve offers to go through and talk to those in charge – only he didn’t count on getting stuck on the other side of the portal.Once he’s back on earth, though, he’s got a whole new problem on his hands.  An annoyingly brilliant Incubus has followed him back and he’s left to deal with the mess all by himself.

The Moon and the Sea by @dirigibleplumbing: Steve has lived his whole life in the coastal California town of Nublado. He’s spent the last few years trying to move on from a traumatic event in his past, and he finds new joy when he befriends—and quickly falls for—reclusive local billionaire Tony Stark. Then Tony abruptly breaks things off and won’t reply when Steve reaches out. Steve’s friends Clint and Nat have his back, at least. But… is someone following him everywhere? What’s with the human teeth Steve and his friends found while they were out fishing? How did the Scarlet Witch know so much about him? And why are there so many crows around?

The Laird in the Water by @jellybeanforest-a-go-go: In 14th century Scotland, Steve is a child with an imaginary friend that lives in a nearby river, the site of many drownings and horrific discoveries. His Nan claims it to be the work of a kelpie. Steve doesn’t believe her of course. Kelpies are a myth, old wives tales to keep children from playing near swiftly-moving streams and young women from entertaining the company of handsome strangers. However, as he grows, Steve realizes that the young man in the water may not be quite as imaginary nor as innocuous as he once believed.

Cabin in the Snow by @navaan: After a mission goes wrong, Steve and Tony get stuck in a strange cabin out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but snow and trees in any direction.

A Long, Lonely Time by asktheravens: Steve returned from the war injured in body and mind- and able to see the dead. At loose ends and desperate to get out of New York City, he accepts a fellowship through the Stark Foundation and retreats to a quiet lake house on the grounds of the Stark Mansion. He’s supposed to be there to paint, but he quickly realizes that the house is more than he bargained for. Anthony Stark died here a decade ago, but was it an accident? A suicide? Or a murder? Obadiah Stane still lives in the main house just up the hill, and the past casts a long shadow. When Tony’s ghost begins appearing to him, Steve becomes more entwined in the dangerous mystery surrounding his death. Even worse, he finds himself falling for a man who died a decade ago…Features lots of ghosts, murder, secrets, and supernatural revenge. Also Thor and Rhodey.

Man of Iron–The Changeling Prince by @summerpipedream: Captain Steve Rogers first wandered into Stark’s Emporium to get a potion to help his ailing mother. He didn’t realize that it was run by the infamous Man of Iron, the former head inventor of the King’s court. With mechanical wings (and a mechanical heart), Tony recruits the Captain to help him seek ingredients in the south forest – where the unprepared perish and rich men hire caravans to protect them from the creatures within.

The Road Through October Country by indigostohelit: It’s a beautiful day in October, and Steve’s hiding behind the library, his knee bleeding, when he sees the boy for the first time. Tony makes Steve laugh, and his hands are as cold as ice, and he doesn’t leave footsteps in the mud. But in a cold graveyard after sunset, Tony asks Steve to make a choice that will change – or end – his life forever.

irresistible force, immovable object by @theappleppielifestyle: Steve, who put Tony before God, and fuck if that doesn’t scare Tony shitless.(Or, Steve is a certain celestial being, Tony is his emotionally fucked up charge with a drinking problem, and this is their story.)
